Review : Secret Key Snow White Milky Lotion

Back to give you another K- beauty product review!

Here is my current obsession Secret Key Snow White Milky Lotion! Just so you know I live in Indonesia, a tropical country with a super huge dose of sunlight and my occupation requires me to be out in the sunlight about 8-10 hours a week and tadaaaa then  I'm currently the one who have problems with uneven skin tone, especially the back of my hands :( it just so different with the rest of my skin although girls I swear I wear sunblock basically every single days:( but still cant help the fact that it really needs a long time to get my skin back as usual.

You gotta admit that sometimes my hand skin color look very different from my face and I'm super sad about it. Especially when sometimes I need to go to special occasion and putting some make-up on. And gladly I found this super good products that allows me to get an even yet bright skin. It has an instant brightening effect that make you wonders how this product can cover an uneven skin tone that fast. Sort of a magic maybe ;) ahaha but no magic ofc

This product actually my first product from Secret Key and I have to admit that it quite pricey for a lotion. I bought this for IDR 120K on Shopee. You can just search at any K-beauty seller I'm sure they got it as this product is quite popular.

Secret Key has 2 variant of this Snow White series, Milky Pack and Milky Lotion. The difference is that the pack one you need to wait for abut 10 minutes after applying then you need to rinse it of with water, and for the lotion one you can just apply it anytime without a need to rinse it. But I haven't tried the milky pack yet. I prefer lotion because it simpler for me as It doesnt require me to rinse it off.

Above is the campaign paper from Secret Key about this product. As you can see the advantage of this product is that...

1. Instant brightening effect

2. You dont need to rinse it off

3. Can be used from face to body

But to be honest I have never applied it to my face because I have this feeling that my face is quite sensitive so I have to be mindful about applying anything to my face. But if you girls are feeling like to apply it to you face you gotta try it but first make sure that don't apply too much for the first time applying.

It doesn't come with the pouch haha I bought it separately but still from the same store. It was cute enough for me to press order on it :D

About the product but I don't really understand as it written in hangul. :D

Actually in my opinion, this product is a little dry. So I advise you to put some good moisturizer before to achieve a smooth yet brighter skin :)

And tadaaaaaa here is the result. A brighter and smooth skin is yours. The effect is good enough for me but still I'm in search for a permanent skin brightener as this product only last for about 8-10 hours with no harsh water exposure.

Pros :

- An instant brightening effect

-Last for months although for a everyday use

-Last for 8-10 hours after applying with no harsh water exposure

-Easy to find in any K-beauty online store

Cons :

- Relatively expensive for a lotion product IDR 120-135K

-A natural result can be achieved only if you put some good moisturizer before (if you dont apply moisturizer it look quite powdery on your skin)

but I'm in search for another lotion product that can permanently bring my skin tone back to normal and maybe a more natural result as this product need moisturizer to achieve a natural look. You girls can recommend me any products you feel like will suit me. Thanks before!

Review & Swatches : Wardah Everyday BB Cream & Purifying Moisturizer Gel

Nowadays, I've been searching for a not-to-heavy BB Cream. Because for my everyday use I prefer a light and not-to-cakey make up as I prefer more of a natural look. I only use foundation for a special occasion that requires me to wear a full make up. For a daily basis my make up mostly a natural look with pink or mauve lip color and a slight hint of pink or peach blush. Next time I'll do a complet review of my everyday make-up :)

Now, I'll do a review for a local Indonesia cosmetic line which a well known product for muslimah. 

1. Wardah Everyday BB Cream

This product is good enough for me as I love its light and natural coverage. The plus point is that this product claims to has a sun protector characteristic SPF 30, which is I think quite enough for me as I worked mostly indoor. It is easy to blend and you can see the color swatches below which I took the photos only by indoor light at noon.

Its relatively cheap, only for about IDR 45-50 K and girls It last months for me although I use it every single day. I loved this product and my skin doesn't have any problem with it. It has two shades "light" and "natural", mine is the natural shade.

This product also claims that is perfume free and also paraben free which is good because it less harmful, then.

Pros :

- Relatively cheap only for IDR 40- 50K

- I love the tube packaging

- Light coverage and perfect for a natural everyday look

-Last for months although for a everyday use

Cons :

- currently I have no cons towards this product :)

1. Wardah Purifying Moisturizer Gel

For an instant moist skin, moisturizer is a must. Although I have a more of a oily skin type, there's always a case when you feel your skin is a lil bit dry and in needs for a soothing moisturizer. I can recommend you this product. Its relatively cheap, last for months and in a tube packaging which is more hygienic. Below I added the swatches for this product, the left one and the right one is the BB Cream. I also have no provlem with the smell.

Pros :

- Relatively cheap only for IDR 20- 30K

- I love the tube packaging

-Last for months although for a everyday use

Cons :

- currently I have no cons towards this product :) 

but currently I prefer Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel for my moisturizer :D

Review : Laneige Mini Lip Sleeping Mask

Here today I'll tell you about my current obsession, its the super well-known 

Laneige Mini Lip Sleeping Mask !

this product is a real help to those who's always having chapped lip problems like me. Just so you know, my lip has the tendency to be dry even though my skin type is more of normal to oily type. Trust me it confuse me to at most of the times. So I have to use lip moisturizer for every single days or yes maybe every single time, before I wear another lip product like lip tint, lip stain, lipstick, or lip cream, you name it. 

When I was a teenager, maybe when I'm in JHS I started using lip balm to fix my chapped lip problem and to maintain my lip's moisture. The very first product I'm using was LIPICE, this product is good enough for me, but then I began to realize, after 3-4 hours this product has no effect and my lips is chapped again, and LIPICE left a pink stain in my chapped lips and it is a big no for me.

I began to search for another product, and I met Maybelline!

I have used a variety of Maybelline lip balm, and I have to admit that I'm in love with all. Maybelline delivers a great formula for my lips and I've repurchased it tons of times :) I'll upload a pic of my Maybelline's lipbalm soon.

Similiar colour!

I've tried Cherry Me, Peach Kiss, Pink Punch and Quenched! All super good!

Candy Wow is a fav but despite it longer physical I actually finished it at the similar time as the smaller balm.

Here back to the topic, currently I more of a tint and lip matte person but still I don't ever leave my lip moisturizer. 

This Laneige Mini Lip Sleeping Mask  is a very good product as it has an incredible ability to moisturize lips. Leave it all night and you'll get what you want. A moist lip with a slight pink color. 

It actually have a few variant but sorry to say I've only found the pink one. What I like from the mini series is its small and easy to fit in my my make up pouch so I can just bring it anywhere. 

But the downside form the mini series is that you won't get the spatula that come with the regular series.


But its okay, you can use any buds or directly by using your clean hands.

As you can see, the sleeping mask is in a soft pink color and believe me it smells good so you dont have to worry anything about the smell.

Pros :

- Relatively cheap only for IDR 40K

- Small and cute packaging to fit in any make up pouch

- Nice effect (moist lips) after a routine use

- Good smell

Cons :

- It doesn't come with spatula

Rate :

The conclusion is I love this product and I will repurchase it anytime soon! Yay!

Review : Skinfood Egg White Pore Mask and another Skinfood Mask Products

Back to give another k-beauty product's review. This time I'm going to do review for the uber famous SKINFOOD Egg White Pore Mask. Stay tune!

SKINFOOD actually has versatile kind of mask, here I 'll do a quick mention of SKINFOOD mask products.

1. SKINFOOD BEAUTY IN A FOOD MASK

I do enjoy using SKINFOOD BEAUTY IN A FOOD MASK as it has a quite good quality with a relatively cheap price. As for me, my favorite is Rice, Aloe and Strawberry. I have tried the Snail variant but in my opinion I didnt quite like my skin texture after using the Snail variant. As for Rice, I can feel my skin looks brighter after using it regularly. I prefer Aloe and Strawberry to nourish my dry skin after working all day in a full air conditioned room. I'll do a complete separate review for the sheet mask, soon :)

2. SKINFOOD FRESH MADE MASK

For those need of a mask that can freshen the skin, this freshmade mask is one of the best option. You can also use it the amount you like. This product is all about fruit and its good for those in search for a natural based wash off mask. The texture is smooth and silky and it provides a nice dose of moisturizer for your skin. My fav is Lemon.

3. SKINFOOD BLACK SUGAR MASK

One thing I like from SKINFOOD is that they provide a huge amount product and the product's price is relatively cheap. I strongly recommend this product if for a good exfoliating scrub, It works amazingly good. Use it routinely and soon it can help remove any acne spots. I have tried this once from my friend, I haven't bought my self but soon I will and at that time I'll do a complete review for this product. 

3. SKINFOOD EGG WHITE PORE MASK

Actually there's still another variant of SKINFOOD mask but today I'll tell you more about this SKINFOOD Egg White Pore Mask. I like the sleek and simple design of this product It has a quite nice packaging but one thing I feel quite dissapointed is that because this product doesn't provide spatula :(  so you have to be super hygienic when taking this product or at least please take this product with a clean hand.

I'm quite impressed that SKINFOOD established at the yeas of 1957 so its been 60 years already.

It provides a easy to read description written of the product's body. One another good point is that its written in English so you don't have to use any translating app for understanding the meaning.

Its come with a lid so you can make sure it does't come out easily without you knowing.

It has a soft and nice texture, you can put it on your skin by the help of a mask brush or by using your bare hands. You can spread as you like or at spots but I prefer doing a full face mask &the result is amazing. I feel that my pore isgetting smaller  relatively after a routine use and it actually brighten your skin a little. You can feel a tightening sensation when using this product. Leave it for around 20 minutes for my case as I prefer a longer time of masking. Wash it gently with cold water and you can achieve a nice fresh and smooth skin with a smaller pore (of course after a continue and routine use)

Pros :

- Relatively cheap

- Huge amount

- Nice effect (smaller pore) after a routine use

- Has a fresh and brightening effect

Cons :

- It doesn't come with spatula

Review & Swatches : Etude House Play 101 Stick Contour Duo #1 Highlighter + Shading

Back to give you another make up products review! Now its the uber popular Etude House Play 101 Stick Contour Duo. This product has 2 shades , and the one I will review is shade #1 Highlighter + Shading. This products is quite popular and the super popular Pony is its brand ambassador. Here it is,

Here are my photos for this products..

The packaging is very simple, the body color is black in plastic material with clear plastic tips, its good for me since then I can see clearly the shade and it make it easier and faster for me to do my make-up. Another good pint is that this product has its description as well as the directions and ingredients writen in Korean and English, (Yay english!!!) So for people who can't read hangul or can't speak Korean its is no problem you still can read it in english girls :)

I chose shade #1 since I prefer more of a natural look because I think that shade #2 is too dark for the dark shading, thats why I chose to buy shade #1. Like what its description this products is quite soft and creamy and easy to use. For the highlighter I usually put it on my T-zone, and my brow bone, I have not tried to put it at the tops of my lips, but soon I will, I guess. To be real honest the purpose I buy this product is for nose contouring, and in my experience it applied quite well on my complexion but this product has a very minimal staying power. You definitely make-up primer if you want this product lasts for hours.
This product is good for a daily use since it has a stick form and you can use it easily only by using 1 hand. It provides a natural and light look for your everyday make-up. You can easily put it inside of your make-up pouch and do some touch up needed in the middle of your daily activity.

Pros :

- Quite Cheap

- Light and easy to use

- Suitable for a natural look

- Product's description is also provided in English

Cons :

- Low staying power
